Life has been so busy lately, but we snuck outside when there was a glimpse of some sun and planted petunias!

Love these sweet kids!  I was so excited to snap these kids with my new lens but....by the time I got to the camera store, my lens was out of stock.  Soooo, I'm actually pretty stoked about how well these turned out with my stock lens!  But how could they not?  I mean look at these beauties!

We Love our Chloe!

Today I had 2 hours to myself without my child and didn't know what to do.  Laundry done, yard watered, house mostly clean...sooooo, I decided to see how one of my "new to me" suitcases (Thank you Coleen) looked in a photo!  So I stuck the pooch in it :)  I love it! 

Chloe is our long haired Chihuahua and I must say even though she doesn't look amused....she is quite the model.  haha!  Love you Chloe!

MINI HORSES!!!!!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mamas out there!  Today, on the way to the festivities (which I will be posting pics from later)  we stopped at my cousins and Lexi had her first horse experience....only smaller.  She LOVED it!  Just her size!

And we can't forget the Alpacas, Look at that face!

Hook, Line and Sinker

 Last night we went to Lexi's grandpa's house and she had a BLAST!  She was non-stop running and playing and laughing and EATING!  Not to mention trying out her new SPONGEBOB fishing pole that he got her!  It was nice to see her so energetic again after bein sick for so long.  She has her grandpa wrapped around her tiny little finger and thankfully he didn't argue with me about snapping some pictures of the two of them.  So cute!

Sandbox Deluxe

I am constantly amazed at what my dad can do.  There is NOTHING he can't do!  Today he brought over a sandbox that he built.  Of course I should have known this would be no ordinary, run of the mill, sandbox.  This is the sandbox deluxe. ...

Made of beautiful cedarwood with a corrugated roof to keep the rain off and the sun from beating on the wee one....... AND....artwork!!!  Custom decor of her second favorite fella, painted by her very favorite fella....grampy.  (Her Daddy of course ranks up there with Grampy as well lol)  It was a hit, she's not too sure about actually going in it yet but she was loving throwing the sand everywhere...from outside the box. 

 I predict many sand filled days of sand filled shoes.  Thank you Grampy, we love you so much.

 

Daddy's Home!

Ahhh, What a lovely couple of days with Randy home.  Lexi is just starting to process it all, I think.  Every day that he isn't here, she talks about him in her 18 month old jibberish and says "dada!"  and points to his pictures on the wall.  We had a great "weekend" of fun, relaxation, and good food and Lexi gave him sooooo many kisses!  How blessed we are to have such a smart and sweet little girl.  She is just such an angel, and I swear.....I'm not biased  ;)

This pic is my favorite all time picture because he never lets me take his photo AND I love the look on her face.  She was so in awe of the fact that she could touch him and he wasn't just "in the phone" or hanging in a frame on the wall.  He left this morning at 4am :(  We miss you already daddy.
